Shree Dance Academy, established in the year 2012 at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India stands as a beacon of classical Odissi dance. Founded by the illustrious Smt. Namita Ray, whose remarkable expertise spans over four decades in the realm of dance, with over two and half decades dedicated to the teaching of Odissi. Smt. Namita Ray is not only a nationally acclaimed “A” grade artist of Doordarshan but also holds the esteemed position of examiner at ABGMV and recipient of Scholarship and Fellowship from Ministry of Culture Govt. of India.
Courses

Foundational Training
- Beginner Level: Basic steps (Chauka and Tribhanga), hand gestures (Mudras), and postures.
- Theory: The history and origins of Odissi, its evolution, and understanding of the music and rhythms used.
- Body Conditioning: Exercises that build strength, flexibility, and stamina essential for Odissi.
